I recently had several inches of hair chopped off in a bout of heatwave-induced mania, and now find myself more motivated than ever to finally learn how to properly style my fringe. The inspo, predictably, is Jane Birkin, which perhaps suggests I have no imagination... or perhaps her fringe was just *that* good? Vogue’s beauty team has it on good authority that hers is one of several ’70s-inspired hairstyles trending in London salons this summer, and helpfully, current cover star Daisy Edgar-Jones – a natural heir to the Jane Birkin aesthetic if ever we saw one – told us exactly how she gets her own fringe looking so perfectly imperfect.
